What does Max Fax™ mean?

It is the abbreviation of Maxillo-Facial, which is that branch of Medicine and Dentistry that studies and corrects facial unaesthetisms. The Maxillo-Facial method involves acting deep onto the bones, either with non-invasive treatments, such as Max Fax™ Sculpting, or with Surgery.

What is Max Fax™ Sculpting?

This signature technique by Dr. Maen is based on the maxillo-facial knowledge of the patient’s own facial bones features. Since every person is unique, by carefully studying individual aesthetic proportions and relating them to the underlying facial structure (dermal thickness and bones’ position), the result obtained is a bespoke enhanced definition of cheeks, chin and jaw line.

What is the secret ingredient?

The material injected is Hyaluronic Acid, a sugar chain molecule which is naturally present in young skin but decreases as we age.
Hyaluronic acid works by attracting and binding water in the skin, providing volume and hydration with the end result of ‘cushioning’ and supporting collagen and elastin fibres to restore your face’s youthful appearance.

How is the treatment performed?

Dr. Maen will inject in particular areas of your face, depending on your own facial features. Different types of Fillers might be used based on your age and your skin condition. When treating volume loss, Volume Dermal Fillers are injected onto the bone or deeper in the soft tissue; while when treating lines and wrinkles, the injections are performed under the skin, in tiny amounts to obtain a ‘lift effect’. Dr. Maen is the ‘artist’ who will decide which one is most suitable for your case.

How long will the results last?

What should I expect after the treatment?

You can see the result immediately after the procedure. However you might experience some swelling, which naturally resolves in 1-2 days.
